Why do I have to scan again? This step is intended to take place before you are face-to-face with the customer. Prior to exiting your vehicle, this step helps validate that you have the right part in hand.
Why won’t the box scan?
- Ensure you are scanning the outer box and not the pretty box
- There is a temporary issue with the scanner -> Use the manual entry option (available via the keyboard icon) to enter the last 4 digits of the barcode
- The tape is obscuring the scan -> Use the manual entry option (available via the keyboard icon) to enter the last 4 digits of the barcode and attempt to not tape over on future jobs
